Guardians play a significant role in ensuring a safe and memorable experience for each Veteran. In order to be considered for the Guardian position the applicant must:

• Be between the ages of 18-70 years old. [Individuals over 70 who apply are subject to individual review.]
• Be physically fit and able to participate in a demanding day. (Pushing a wheelchair, extensive walking, extreme weather)
• Attend the MANDATORY Guardian Training session prior to flight day.
• Pay the $500 Guardian fee. Please note the Guardian fee covers only a portion of the actual expenses of the Guardian.

Note: spouses are not eligible to accompany the veteran as a guardian.
